Formed in January 1998 by Organiser Tracey Howard-Baker to provide fellow musicians the opportunity to meet and perform in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere, the voluntary non-profit group moved premises from Enfield to Palmers Green before Enfield Council could provide them with their current venue. Members include local entertainers Rick & Alan, Jan (Slam), Ken Martin, Blulix, Jaz (Caprice), Martin (Cruising Mooses), Mason, Catfish and musicians who work with Peter & Robin Sarstead, Gary Moore, Elkie Brooks and Ian Drury to name a few.
The music is mainly Blues/Rock orientated with members providing their amps/drums for the night, they also organise Theme Nights, Showcases, Festivals, encourage original bands/performers, and produce a monthly newsletter which includes tutors, gig guide, clubs, reviews, etc
Already widening its potential through the invaluable efforts of Lesley Summerfield (Organiser/Secretary), Bear (Radio), Jason Burgess (Website), John (P.A), Jack Lawford (Diamond Entertainments) and their newest sponsor M.K. Entertainments, their long term plans incorporate the provision of a dedicated premises aimed at education/promotion of Music & Arts including Production/Recording/Rehearsal facilities and a community Radio Station for which they are currently seeking sponsorship/backing and local involvement.
